Making of Veil Foundation

Today let's learn about how to apply foundation that lets you look like you are just wearing a thin veil on your face.

Veil Foundation
1. Base Tone up Your Entire Face for Good Foundation.

Control the spread amount of the foundation and press upwards direction twice, using your finger tips. Make sure that you spread from the inner corner to the outer corner of your cheeks. As a make up base, besides applying a good foundation, skillful application methods of the make up that builds a good texture is also an important step. Hence, do remember to apply appropriately and with care.

2. Faceline Blend well using the tip of your hand.

Ensure that your make up base blend with the colour of your face. The technique is to spread the base entirely on your face, and press gently from top towards your chin line. This helps prevent “caking” or messy unevenness of your make up.

3. Cheeks Use liquid foundation and apply upwards from the inner corner of the cheeks in upward direction towards the outer corner of cheeks.

Pay attention to the fingers used to apply this. Use your middle finger and press gently towards the outer side of cheeks. Do not use your index finger to press as the force of index finger is stronger than middle finger. Spread the foundation evenly from the inner towards the outer side of your cheeks and lastly spread to the rest of the face until the foundation blends with your skin colour.

4. Lip Line Apply near the lip line to remove the “shadow” underneath lip. The effect is to create smiling lip.

The “shadow” underneath your lip end if not being corrected, will cause your entire face to look sulky. Use the liquid foundation to apply from the edge of your lip towards the centre of your lip, making sure that you follow your lip line. Note that you apply using your middle finger or ring finger.

5. Pores Refining Tab the foundation to conceal the pores that look visible below the eyes

Use the liquid foundation and tab onto the pores visible below your eyes. Blend it well to make the colour tone of your face looks even.
Remove any remaining liquid foundation if any, with a sponge.

6. Conceal Nose Redness Use concealer and tab to conceal the redness appear on the nose

When applying the right side of your nose, lay your left fingers gently on your left side of nose, and apply the concealer on the right side of your nose to conceal the reddish appearance. Similarly, when applying on the left side of your nose, perform vice versa as described above.

7. Conceal Fine Lines Use Powder foundation to conceal fine lines

If concealer does not work well to conceal fine lines, you can use UV compact foundation to conceal. Choose a colour of the foundation that matches your skin tone to give a natural finishing. Use a small brush and apply some compact foundation to conceal visible fine lines. Do not use pressed sponge for this step.
8. Conceal EyeBags Conceal eye bags and make eyes appear bigger

Use brush to take some of the concealer and apply gently on your eyes bags in upward direction. Pay attention not to apply until the bottom of eyes look swollen. Do not apply near the inner corner of your eyes as concealing this corner may make your eyes look smaller.

9. Finishing Powder Use Powder to give a transparent finishing look on the skin

Finally, press gently face powder on your skin. Press slightly harder on areas such as around your nose, between eyebrows, eyelid and lower eyelid.

10. Transparent Veil Looking Skin!
Important is to follow the steps correctly to have beautiful looking skin! Concealer helps to cover flaws such as reddish on nose, fine lines, visible pores and pimples. By doing concealing steps well, you can easily achieve radiant glow on the face. Beautiful looking make up starts from good make up base on your face!
